Transgvely was founded in 2015 by Kwame Adu-Poku, a financial consultant who recognized a critical gap in financial literacy across Ghana. After spending over a decade working in both local and international banking institutions, Kwame witnessed firsthand how proper financial education could transform lives and communities.
What began as small weekend workshops in Accra quickly grew into a comprehensive financial education platform. In 2017, we partnered with the Ghana Ministry of Finance to develop specialized programs targeting young professionals. By 2019, we had expanded to mobile-based training solutions to reach Ghanaians in rural areas with limited access to formal financial institutions.
Today, Transgvely stands as Ghana's leading financial education platform, having trained over 12,000 individuals across all ten regions. Our methodology blends international financial principles with deep local knowledge, ensuring our students receive guidance that works in Ghana's unique economic landscape.
